Poole Quay Boat Haven and Port of Poole Marina offer 200 berths over two award winning sites. The marinas provide berthing for 110 vessels on an annual basis and 90 vessels as short term lets or visitor berthing. We can accommodate visiting vessels of up to 70 metres in length by prior arrangement. Please contact us as soon as possible if you do require a large berth to enable us to plan accordingly.

Our visitor berths are very popular over the summer months so we recommend that you contact us in advance to book a berth.  You have until midday on the booked day of arrival to cancel a berth should you have any problems getting to us.

Please call us on VHF 80 (call sign ‘Poole Quay Boat Haven’) or 01202 649488 when you are nearing the marina and staff will advise you of the berth number then. Berths will not be allocated until the day of arrival. Visitors who haven't pre-booked may sometimes be offered a berth at Port of Poole Marina if the Boat Haven is fully booked.

The Town Quay is used as an overflow if both marinas are full, but please note that this is not always available due to visiting naval or commercial vessels, or training ships. Water is not available on Town Quay but vessels wishing to fill up can contact the marina staff who will arrange a temporary berth in the marina to collect water.

Your berth should be available from 12 noon for arrival. We request that upon arrival all owners report to reception before going ashore as this allows staff to check your vessel in and take your contact details. Please confirm your expected length of stay when checking in. If you decide to stay at the Haven for more days than originally booked, please advise staff as soon as possible to avoid disrupting other arrivals and berth allocations.

Please vacate your berth by 1200 midday. If you wish to stay later, you may be requested to move your vessel to a position nearer to the office for a 'short stay' and will be charged according to the size of your vessel.

Swinging moorings are available from 1st April until the 31st October and are located in the Wych Channel on the northern side of Brownsea Island. We have moorings for vessels of up to 20m in length & up to 3m draft. A free water taxi service is included (weather & daylight dependent), along with free parking at Port of Poole Marina. Moorings are also available for daily hire from £30 per night, subject to availability.

Please note that top gear is
not provided.

Please visit the Swinging Moorings page for more information.

Rallies or group events are welcome at Poole Quay Boat Haven and can be accommodated if pre-booked, depending on availability. Please call or email the office to reserve spaces. We require a list of boat names, lengths and owners at least 14 days before the event. During the peak season please contact us 3 weeks before to confirm that your event is still going ahead.

Summer lets are occasionally available for various terms between April and October. Please contact the office for more information and pricing.

Special winter packages are available each year, with the option of either a 5 month (1st November - 31st March) or 6 month (1st October - 31st March) package.

Please contact the office for pricing or assistance with this.

Please speak to the office staff if you require more than 16 amps when you make your booking. There is a charge of £3 per night for visiting vessels. A meter-maid can be issued for anyone wishing to stay for longer periods.

Showers and toilets are available at both marinas at no extra charge. All the facilities are cleaned daily (twice daily at busy periods) and are only available for berth holders and visitors. Codes will be given to you when you visit reception to check in.

Pump charge is £10 per vessel (free of charge for annual berth holders). We request that customers wishing to use this facility contact us in advance.

This facility is located near the Haven entrance. Please be aware that this facility is located on a working berth and therefore may not always be available. Staff will do their best to assist if vessels are obstructing use of the pump out but cannot guarantee availability especially during peak times.

2kg bags of ice are available for £2. Please ask at reception at either marina.

Laundry facilities are available at both our marinas. Please ask at reception. Tokens need to be purchased and cost £3.50 for the washing machine, 60p for liquitabs, and £1.50 for the tumble drier.

Drinking water is provided on all pontoons. You can also use this water for washing down vessels but we would request that you do not leave the water running unnecessarily.

At Poole Quay Boat Haven there is one accessible toilet on the pontoons. Alternatively there is an accessible shower and toilet located ashore, just across the road from the entrance. Please ask at reception for the code.
